A month or two ago, the Holy Spirit prompted me to share my “Diary of a Stumbling Saint” blog posts on LinkedIn as well—a venue I’d always avoided because I figured that my wacky Catholic stories would turn off, rather than attract, potential employers.
The other day, out of the blue, I received a private LinkedIn message from a woman I’d worked with many years ago. She said, “I read in your blog post that you just ‘quit your job of 20 years’… was it [the same company we used to work for], by any chance?”
She also asked if I would be available and willing to help edit the brand-new, upcoming book of a rather well-known economist.
Boy, would I ever! I think it took me all of 10 seconds to accept the offer.
Wow. VatiGod, Jesus, Holy Spirit, you guys are just the most amazing. Mind blown, again. I don’t even know what to say.
I was just starting to worry about how to pay my bills… and now this. And it’s not just any old project, but my favorite thing to do: editing and proofreading books. God provides, indeed, to those who love Him. Thank you, Lord, you are the best Vati in the world.
Your little one,
Shannara
