How he helped me through a crisis of faith
In 2017, I read the Bible cover to cover (the Protestant Bible, that is, which is missing seven books), and it was really tough… especially because I didn’t have a firm foundation of faith that would get me through the hardest parts. You know what I’m talking about: the all-out wars, massacres, human sacrifices to other gods, and just generally the whole melee of human wickedness and depravity. Even God’s chosen ones had severe character flaws; some of them committed horrible crimes.
