After posting the “tutorial” on the Invitatory on YouTube, I kinda felt obligated to not let you hang and make another video that shows the chanting of a full prayer session. I chose the Morning Prayer on the Feast Day of Christ the King.
It took me a while to figure out the iMovie software (and I still know only the bare minimum), so here, a week later, is Part 2.
I don’t think I’ll do another video on this topic—the Morning Prayer in its entirety is a pretty good blueprint for chanting the Evening Prayer and Night Prayer too. And I’m sorry, but you’ll have to figure out the different sections in the book yourself once you get it… sometimes even I still get confused.
Why am I doing those tutorials?
Because the more people around the world chant or pray the Liturgy of the Hours—thereby ensuring that at every moment of every day, God is praised and worshipped somewhere on Earth—the more all of us contribute to spreading the light against the tide of darkness that’s threatening to sweep the Church and our culture.
So without further ado, here’s your tutorial for the Morning Prayer. God bless you!
I was curious about how to do this. Thanks so much!
