This, like the other subjects of the previous readings, is a great skill to master: taking full responsibility for our actions and mistakes. Unfortunately, these days people are too eager to shift blame around and away from themselves. But being able to take well-deserved blame, openly admitting that we made a mistake and humbly accepting correction are signs of good character. The book goes even further, saying that we should even accept unjust blame or correction because in one way or another we’re always guilty of something.
