Today is Divine Mercy Sunday! I hope you went to Confession and Mass because if you did, not only are all your sins forgiven, but the punishment is erased as well.
“My God, give me a simple, pure heart, free of malice and hypocrisy. O Lord, grant me true purity and simplicity; in my looks, words, heart, intentions, works, and in all my interior and exterior acts. I should like to know, O Lord, what is there in me that impedes these virtues. […] Do you know that the obstacle is the smallest glance that is not directed to God, and all the words that are not spoken in praise of Him or for the benefit of your neighbor.”
