The image above is actually from my own house. I don’t know why, but Our Lady of Guadalupe has always been near and dear to my heart. Maybe because I started my first Mary consecration on her feast day two years ago, oblivious to the fact that you’re supposed to end on a Marian feast day.
I was still a fledgling Catholic then, even though I’d officially been a Catholic since spring 2018. If you want to read the whole runup to my actual conversion, read the About page and the first three or four blog posts in the archive.
But I don’t want to make this post all about me, for once. Just in time for the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12, the Knights of Columbus have released a short but stunning little film titled, Our Lady of Guadalupe: Woman of the Eucharist.
It’s so well made and so touching, I wanted to make sure you don’t miss it. I have to admit I got kinda choked up during the scene when Juan Diego brings his proof back to the bishop and the sacred image is revealed on his tilma.
But see for yourself.
Enjoy and God bless!
