Why Is the Catholic Church Consorting with Its Archenemy?
Cardinals in buddy talks with the Freemasons
In my last blog post, I mentioned that some of the Founding Fathers were Deists and even Freemasons, the latter being the sworn enemies of the Catholic Church since… oh, I don’t know, forever.
So I was all the more shocked to read this in the National Catholic Register (sorry, this won’t be a very uplifting blog post):
A cardinal taking part in a “historic” closed-door meeting on Friday between the heads of Italy’s Freemasonic lodges and senior Catholic Church leaders has called for a “permanent” dialogue to be opened with the secretive organization, despite masonry being long condemned by the Church.
[…] Along with Cardinal Coccopalmiero, the Catholic Church was represented by Archbishop Mario Delpini of Milan, Franciscan theologian Father Zbigniew Suchecki, and Bishop Antonio Staglianò, president of the Pontifical Academy of Theology.
Bisi, who said he thought the meeting was “very significant,” credited the Church for his education as someone coming from a poor background, and explained how a reconciliation between Freemasonry and the Church was his long-held desire. He also made a point of fondly recalling Cardinal Martini “who was at home here.”
A reconciliation between Freemasonry and the Church… that’s like saying God and Satan are finally making up and being besties again.
If you think I’m exaggerating, think again. Michael Hichborn from the Lepanto Institute, a Catholic whistleblower organization, writes:
According to the very first encyclical on Freemasonry, issued by Pope Clement XII in 1738 called In Eminenti, Freemasonry in all of its forms and under whatever name it may go by, “are to be condemned and prohibited, and by Our present Constitution, valid for ever, We do condemn and prohibit them.” That “for ever” condemnation cannot and has not ever been undone. And with this condemnation, Pope Clement XII made absolutely clear that no one, under pain of automatic excommunication, is to have ANY contact with Freemasons. It says:
“Wherefore We command most strictly and in virtue of holy obedience, all the faithful of whatever state, grade, condition, order, dignity or pre-eminence, whether clerical or lay, secular or regular, even those who are entitled to specific and individual mention, that none, under any pretext or for any reason, shall dare or presume to enter, propagate or support these aforesaid societies of Liberi Muratori or Francs Massons, or however else they are called, or to receive them in their houses or dwellings or to hide them, be enrolled among them, joined to them, be present with them, give power or permission for them to meet elsewhere, to help them in any way, to give them in any way advice, encouragement or support either openly or in secret, directly or indirectly, on their own or through others; nor are they to urge others or tell them, incite or persuade them to be enrolled in such societies or to be counted among their number, or to be present or to assist them in any way; but they must stay completely clear of such Societies, Companies, Assemblies, Meetings, Congregations or Conventicles, under pain of excommunication for all the above mentioned people, which is incurred by the very deed without any declaration being required, and from which no one can obtain the benefit of absolution, other than at the hour of death, except through Ourselves or the Roman Pontiff of the time.”
Neatly 100 years later, Pope Leo XII recalled and reiterated this very condemnation using the same formula that would later be prescribed at the First Vatican Council for issuing an infallible decree.
As you can see, this is no joke. The enmity between the Catholic Church and Freemasonry is serious business.
In his excellent book, Infiltration, Dr. Taylor Marshall details the centuries-old plot of Freemasonry to destroy the Church from within.
It started by stacking seminaries with masonic candidates for the priesthood and then moved on to placing those same seminarians (now priests, bishops, and cardinals) in key positions within the Church.
Freemasons aren’t some kind of quirky peeps running around with funny aprons. They actually had a big hand in the French Revolution. And many traditionalists claim that Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, who in the wake of Vatican II reformed the Roman Rite and established what is now known as the “Novus Ordo,” was a Freemason charged with chopping the sacred liturgy to bits.
All the current attempts by certain factions in the Church to modernize, secularize, and water down traditions and Bible teachings are either orchestrated or at the very least heavily influenced by Freemasonry. And they’re not just modernists: We’re talking actual witchcraft and sorcery here. You wouldn’t be too far off the mark calling them satanists in disguise.
What are Freemasons’ weapons in the outer world? Woke/cancel culture, “inclusivity,” race and gender ideologies, technological “advancements” like AI, transhumanism, gene editing, etc., climate change, “human/women’s rights,” progressivism in all its forms… and always under the mask of philanthropy, brotherhood, and equality for all. I wouldn’t be amazed to hear that all the liberal German bishops are Freemasons. They sure act like it.
And now certain high-ranking elements in the Catholic Church are fraternizing with these emissaries of mankind’s oldest enemy. That should leave any Catholic speechless.
As Pope Paul VI said:
We would say that, through some mysterious crack—no, it’s not mysterious; through some crack, the smoke of Satan has entered the Church of God. There is doubt, uncertainty, problems, unrest, dissatisfaction, confrontation.
The Church is no longer trusted. We trust the first pagan prophet we see who speaks to us in some newspaper, and we run behind him and ask him if he has the formula for true life. I repeat, doubt has entered our conscience. And it entered through the windows that should have been open to the light: science.
But we knew this was coming. Things will just get worse and worse until God Himself will step in to sort things out.
Fr. Chad Ripperger, one of the foremost US Catholic theologians, Thomists, conference speakers, authors, and exorcists, is now holding workshops teaching people how to prepare for a time when the Sacraments won’t be available anymore… and eventually for the Great Chastisement. He thinks it can’t be far off.
Here’s the video (a must-watch):
Let’s use this Lenten season to become as holy as we can be… and prepare for anything.
For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? (Luke 9:24–25)
God bless you!
