For me, it was life changing (and I know others who say the same thing); what I needed was a good shaking because I thought I was doing a bang-up job. :) For you, it might be a different book, who knows. Actually, what just popped into my mind was "Loved As I Am" by Sister Miriam James Heidland. Try that one first. :)
